Item information- The HP LaserJet 4 printer is a must-have item for any workgroup environment with substantial monochrome printing requirements. When compared to other printers with same performance capacity the printer is undoubtedly inexpensive. Its overall measurements of 18. 1×20. 6×12. 5 inches and a weight of 51. 4lbs, makes the device a sturdy workhorse which wouldn’t really fit in small business or home environments.

Print Quality- Print quality in general is very good. Prints are produced at a speed of 8 ppm on 600 x 600 dpi resolutions setting. Even the most microscopic text printed at 12 points and smaller maintains its fine lines and stroke weights while large fonts remain silky smooth without any jagged edging. Gray-scale and graphics are produced at above average quality without a single white area left uncovered. 35 scalable Intellifont outlines, a TrueType font rasterizer and 35 Windows TrueType fonts come standard with the printers’ software. Other fonts including Interllifonts, TrueType outlines and Postscript Type 1 can be downloaded optionally.
